### The accuracy of pedicle screw placement using intra-operative image guidance systems

This clinical study demonstrates how higher accuracy rates and increased safety can be achieved with image guidance over free-hand techniques. The study explores whether 3D fluoroscopic navigation is more efficient and accurate than 2D options using a variety of methods.

A total of 30 studies were included in this analysis—demonstrating significantly higher pedicle screw placement accuracy than conventional fluoroscopy or even 2D fluoroscopic image guidance methods.
